The map above shows each ferry's live position and whether it is docked at St. George, docked at Whitehall, or underway between them.
The Staten Island Ferry is free and runs around the clock between St. George Terminal on Staten Island and Whitehall Terminal in Lower Manhattan. The crossing takes about 25 minutes.
The Departures panel lists the next scheduled sailings from each terminal. Schedules can change with weather, staffing, or mechanical issues, so check the DOT website for official service updates.
